The reality of design verification by test is that the panel will be tested to worst case conditions. Thankfully not many installed panels experience this level of electrical, mechanical or thermal strain.
Even though you are testing equipment to the worst case conditions, it does not mean that you build one type of panel for your testing and a completely different construction of board for normal installation. The standard applies to all panels, therefore it is essential that costs in equipment and installation need to be considered at the same time as the forces and strains that will be applied. We work with designers and builders to ensure that the selection & installation are most likely to meet the test conditions.
